We started the farm in 2002 with our first Icelandic. We have bred many horses over the years and have built an exceptional herd of Icelandics including one of the highest evaluated mares in the US, Gljá frá Egilsstaðakoti as well as Kata from Mill Farm. We offer horses for sale as well as for lease.
We also have Icelandic sheep and shetland sheep. I use the fleece from the sheep to process, spin and knit the yarn. Products are available for sale.
My personal journey through multiple miscarriages led me to discover this remarkable breed of horse and brought joy during the most difficult time in my life. These horses continue to enrich my life. My book is available for purchase on the link below.
